Churchill Unit

CANtreat has been pleased to provide a new TV for the patients receiving chemotherapy treatment at the Churchill Unit of Bolton Hospital. This was possible thanks to the kind donation CANtreat received from Bolton Wanderers Supporters Association at the BWSA Christmas Party in December.

CANtreat is also in discussions with the Bolton Hospital to help to improve the facilities in the Churchill Unit. Plans are under way to add a quiet room extension to the chemotherapy centre which will provide a quiet area for patients to go to to receive bad news or wait in private for chemotherapy or blood results. The quiet room will allow the clinics to run more efficiently by providing this facility and relieving pressure on the treatment rooms and waiting area. CANtreat has agreed to raise £40,000 towards this project.

Bolton Royal Hospital
