| | CANtreat has been involved in discussions with Macmillan Cancer Relief and the North Cheshire Hospitals Trust about expanding and improving the treatment facilities at Warrington and Halton Hospitals. An expansion of the current facility at Halton Hospital, the Delamere Centre, best fits with the reconfiguration of services and an improvement in the facilities for chemotherapy treatment, especially on the Warrington site.
Monday 12th March 2007 saw the launch of this process with presentations and discussion groups involving Senior Management, staff, patients and CANtreat and Macmillan to establish the best way forward.
The images here have been taken from the plans drawn up by CANtreat for an extensive expansion of the current Delamere Centre which give some idea of the possibilities.
